I got my first computer at 16, back in 1997, when the internet was still relatively new. I've been working with digital technology ever since, building websites, solving problems and helping businesses make better use of technology.
Today, I run ThriveLine, a digital strategy and services agency. My team and I work with businesses on websites, search visibility, AI, automation and the systems that bring everything together.
But my interests have never been limited to technology.
I've worked with ocean scientists, spent time living and volunteering in the Amazon and lived in different parts of the world. I've also studied environmental sciences, a subject I'm continuing to explore today.
Those experiences have influenced the way I look at things. I enjoy learning about different subjects, questioning what I read and discovering how ideas connect. Sometimes the most interesting insights come from looking at something from a completely different angle.
I studied multimedia at university and continue to build on that background. More recently, I completed UBC's AI Strategy: Stay Competitive with AI course, and I'm currently working toward UBC's AI Skills Accelerator for IT, Digital and Enterprise Systems Professionals certificate.
